When a late bloomer discovers something that piques his interest, he “blooms” as a result.
If a college student has never been exposed to psychology before, she may take a psychology course and fall in love with it. For someone who had never seen the ocean or an aquarium, the opportunity to go fishing on an oceanic fishing excursion might have piqued their curiosity about marine life.
There are many things and activities that you may expose your child to in order to help them develop a passion for anything. If you are worried about your child’s personal time being taken away from him because of his involvement in extracurricular activities, you should not do so! It simply means you want to expose your youngster to a wide range of topics and interests.
You may be able to change your child’s lack of motivation and desire to learn into a desire to succeed. The motivation may be unrelated to academics.
